With no schools’ football being played at present, here’s a look back at schools’ football in season 2006-2007.

Welcome to yet another extremely busy and successful Scottish Schools football season.

I would like to thank all the clubs who provided excellent facilities for our showpiece games.

Mintlaw Academy had a tremendous season winning the Girls Senior Shield (for the second year in a row), the Under 16 Shield and were runners-up in the Girls under 15 Shield (a competition they had won the previous three years running).

St Andrew’s & St Bride’s High won both the Under 13 and under 14 Shields.

Knightswood Secondary won the Senior Shield beating Madras College 4-3 in the final at Hampden Park.

Mintlaw Academy beat Montrose Academy 7-0 to lift the Girls’ Senior Shield at Banks O’Dee Juniors.

Mintlaw Academy beat Aberdeen Grammar, on penalties, to lift the Under 16 Shield at Pittodrie Stadium.

The Nicolson Institute won the Under 15 Shield beating Lasswade 2-1 in the final at Victoria Park, Dingwall.

Perth Grammar lifted the Girls’ Under 15 Shield beating Mintlaw Academy 3-1 at McDiarmid Park.

St Andrew’s & St Bride’s High won the Under 14 Shield beating Buckhaven High 2-0 at Ochilview Park.

St Andrew’s & St Bride’s High beat St Aidan’s High to win the Under 13 Shield at Firrhill Stadium
