Scott Steele captained Dumfries Academy in seasons 2007/08 and 2008/09 when the school won the under 15 SSFA Shield, the U15 British Isle Championship and the U16 SSFA Shield.
He was also a member of the successful Dumfries and Galloway Regional U15 and Senior teams that won their respective National Trophies in seasons 2007/08 and 2009/10.

Scott is a talented rugby player with Harlequins and chose the oval ball game on leaving school. Recently his successful career in club Rugby was rewarded with his first Scotland cap in the recent six nations fixture versus Wales
Scott is from a talented sporting family and big brother Jack gained an SSFA cap in 2007. Jack is currently the coach of the Dumfries and Galloway senior team.
