The group 2 section game played at New Murrayfield Park, Blackburn between West Lothian SFA and Lanarkshire SFA produced a last minute goal which saw the visitors take all three points.
In an evenly contested match played in difficult blustery conditions there was little between the two teams. Both teams created half chances in the first half and both teams had late chances to score as the game drew to a close.
With almost the last kick of the ball Scott Martin ( Uddingston Grammar) netted from close in, having held his run to avoid being offside, to give Lanarkshire the narrow 1 – 0 victory.
West Lothian now travel to Alloa to face Forth Valley SFA on Wednesday 23rd October at 2.00pm. Lanarkshire will host the Independent Schools FA team at Hamilton Palace on Tuesday 29th October at 2.00pm.
