International Programme shaping up

We have been busy putting the International programme for our Boys U18s and Girls U15 squads together for the new season.  Not quite finalised but we can now release the outline programme.

The East and West trials will take place during late November with the crossover and final trials taking place in mid December.

The girls will play a series of preparatory games against club sides Jan – March before playing Northern Ireland, in Larne, in late March.

The Bob Docherty Tournament will take place in England in mid-April.

The Cap Ceremony will take place on Monday 20 April.

The Selectors will use the Inter-Association Senior National Trophy games between September and November to select boys for trials in late November/early December. The final trial will take in mid December.

The boys have a number of training events and preparatory games before playing Australia on 23 January.

The Boys continue with preparatory games before their first centenary Shield game, home to Northern Ireland, on Friday 6 March.

Next they play the Republic of Ireland, in Dublin, on Thursday 19 March before meeting Wales, home, on Friday 3 April.

Their final Centenary Shield game is away to England on Thursday 9 April.

The Cap Ceremony will take place on Monday 20 April.
