Farewell good friend Craig Brown

It is with great sadness that we learned of the death of Scottish Schoolboy Internationalist and former men’s Scotland manager, Craig Brown.

Craig was a great friend to the Scottish Schools’ F.A., ever generous with his time in supporting our charitable activities including raising money for the Beatson Cancer Treatment and Research Centre in Glasgow. His advice on developing schoolboy football at International level, particularly during the 80s and 90s, was invaluable.

A talented footballer in his own right, Craig was capped by the Scottish Schools F.A. at under 18 level in both 1957 and 1958 playing alongside Billy McNeil and Alex Fergusson respectively.
