To mark International Childhood Cancer Day 2023 the Scottish Schools’ FA with support from the Dickson family are proud to announce the launch of our new International Home Team Charity kit.
Every day 13 children in the UK are diagnosed with cancer.
Our smart new kit supporting Cure Leukaemia UK and its FINISH IT campaign along with the LivStrong charity are hoping that in the near future this number will be 0.
The Cure Leukaemia UK FINISH IT Campaign is hoping to raise £10 Million to allow the creation of a world’s first clinical trial network to improve the outcomes of children like Liv who are living with leukaemia .

Gillian Duffy, Vice-president of the SSFA said: “We as an association know that cancer does not discriminate based on what team you play for or support, your age or gender, but from experience we do know how powerful the football family can be in supporting people and their family on their cancer journey. It is with grateful thanks to the Dickson family we are able to highlight this at Schools International level”.
Mr Dickson said: “Liv and our family are delighted to have been able to provide squad strips for both the girls and boys Scottish Schools’ teams. With the new charity partnership between SSFA and Cure Leukaemia, we have been able to support and promote the £10 million Cure Leukaemia “Finish It” campaign to fund essential trials for paediatric leukaemia across the UK, help to find a cure for childhood leukaemia. We wish Gillian and both squads all the very best for the coming internationals.”
