Goalkeepers

Rohan Harkins
Kilmarnock Academy

Rohan is currently signed at Kilmarnock FC and playing for Kilwinning Rangers.

He has always played as a goalkeeper and hopes for a pro contract and to later establish himself as a first-choice senior club keeper. Rohan might also pursue a career as a PE Teacher.

Away from football he plays the drums and enjoys surfing

Liam Prunty
Airdrie Academy

Liam plays as a goalkeeper at Airdrieonians FC.

Liam would love a pro contract to follow his father, Bryan, into the professional game.

In the short-term Liam hopes to assist his club side to youth league success and to win the Centenary Shield with the SSFA squad.

He also enjoys playing and watching golf.

Defenders

Euan Bowie
Kilmarnock Academy

Euan is signed at Kilmarnock FC and he hopes for a pro contract.

He also finds time to work part time in a local barber’s shop and has an ambition outside of football to own a hairdresser’s business.

Euan is keen on all sports and plays golf and tennis.

Owen Doyle
St Columba’s High School

Owen  is in the youth team set up at St Mirren FC and is hoping that a pro contract will start him on the road to professional football.

He can play at centre back or centre mid field and is a strong tackling player comfortable with both left and right foot.

Jamie Low
Inverclyde Academy

Jamie plays in the youth set up at Partick Thistle and can play at left back of left midfield.

He would like to earn a pro contract but also considers a Sports Science course at university.

Jamie has been a ball boy on a Champions League night at Arsenal FC and is keen on darts.

Ali Nixon
Inverness Royal Academy

Ali currently plays at his local senior club, Inverness Caledonian Thistle. He has two appearances with the first team and plays either full back or mid field with the club’s youth side.

Ali hopes to progress to full time football and is considering studying Business Studies in the future.

His busy schedule includes a part time weekend job when football permits as well is going to the gym. He also played shinty player in his earlier years.

Robbie Stewart
St Margaret’s High School

Robbie played a number of years in the youth system at St. Mirren FC but is now playing regular first team football in the Lowland League with Caledonian Braves.

He can play full back or centre back and hopes he can make it to the professional ranks.

When he has time Robbie works as a lifeguard.

Midfielders

Shay Burke
St Margaret’s High School

Shay is currently out on loan at Drumchapel Juniors FC from his parent club Falkirk FC.

He plays centre mid field and has been training on a regular basis with Falkirk’s full time first team squad. Shay has been on the bench in a few first team squads.

He hopes for a career in football with winning a pro contract in his sights.

In his busy schedule Shay is also a part time lifeguard.

Reuben Cooper
Prestwick Academy

Reuben is currently signed at Kilmarnock FC and he hopes for a pro contract with his local senior club.

He is a very versatile player capable of playing in a number of positions.

Reuben has an urge to travel and would love to visit other countries and work abroad.

Matthew Falconer
St Ninian’s High School

Matthew  is currently signed at Partick Thistle FC having been involved earlier with the Celtic FC youth set up.

The centre midfielder hopes to make the grade at Thistle.

In his spare time he enjoys playing golf.

Archie Gibson
Aberdeen Grammar

Previously at Aberdeen FC, Archie currently plays at Turriff United in the Highland League, and can play at centre mid field or full back, with a few first team appearances already.

Archie hopes to gain qualifications to further study at university. Sports Science with a career in sport is one of his ambitions.

He would like the chance to study in America while pursuing his football dream.

Stuart McDowell
Kinross High School

Stuart  is currently a first team starter in midfield at Lowland League side, Linlithgow Rose.

He works part time in a local hotel but has ambitions to play in the Premiership.

With an eye to the future, Stuart would like to own a fitness gym.

Freddie Rowe
Queen Anne High School

Freddie is an attacking centre mid fielder at Dunfermline FC and hopes for a pro contract.

He also hopes that exam success will lead to a university opportunity to further study in sport.

Away from football, Freddie enjoys playing golf.

Jack Allan
Grange Academy

Jack plays for Ayr United FC and regularly trains at first team level. Capable of playing off either wing. He hopes for a career in football – home or abroad.

He would also like the opportunity to own and operate a business in the USA.

Away from football Jack enjoys games of table tennis.

Aedan Gilfedder
St Andrew’s Academy

Aedan recently signed for Greenock Morton following a few years at Livingston FC and is comfortable on either wing.

He hopes for a career in professional football, but is also considering either university study or an apprenticeship.

Aedan is active as a referee for youth development football on a Saturday morning.

As a youngster he was placed third in the World Tai Kwon Do championships having previously won the European title.

Callum Graham
Bannerman High School

Callum plays at Alloa FC and can operate on either wing.

He hopes to go as far as possible in the professional football game or an opportunity to work in coaching or physical training beyond that.

Away from football, Callum is keen on working out in the gym to develop his fitness.

Flynn McKay
Fraserburgh Academy

Flynn plays for his local side Fraserburgh as a striker at both U18 and U21 level. He would love to progress to full time football.

He hopes that exams will go well so that he can pursue study in Engineering in the future.  

Flynn enjoys surfing in the summer and playing the drums.

Jacob Shields
Our Lady and St Patrick’s High School

Jacob  plays with Dumbarton FC U19’s and is a striker.

He hopes for a career in professional football but is also considering electrical engineering as a job prospect.

Away from football Jacob is keen on golf, mountain biking and cooking.
