This year’s British Isles Cup takes place at the Toryglen Regional Football Centre 25-27 May.
The McKinstry International Tournament is a competition for school teams who have won their respective national competition at Under 14 level in England, Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
The teams involved this years are; St Ninian’s High School, Giffnock (Scotland), Holyrood Secondary (Scotland), Ysgol Cyfun Gymraeg Plasmawr (Wales), St Joseph’s College (Republic of Ireland), Christian Brothers School (Northern Ireland) and St Thomas More School (England).
As Scotland are this year’s host we can enter two teams.
The format of the tournament is:
Friday 25 May – 4:30pm
St Ninian’s High v Ysgol Cyfun Gymraeg Plasmawr
Holyrood Secondary v St Joseph’s College
Christian Brothers School v St Thomas More School
Saturday 26 May – 10:30am
St Ninian’s High v Christian Brothers School
Holyrood Secondary v St Thomas More School
Ysgol Cyfun Gymraeg Plasmawr v St Joseph’s College
Sunday 27 May – 10:30am
The top two teams will compete for the McKinstry Cup
Teams finishing in places 3-6 after day 2 will be paired with a team they have not yet played on day 1 or day 2.
